The Asociación Mujer y Tecnología de la Rioja and the Asociación Feminista Laguz have launched the mobile application ‘Palabra de mujer’ which aims to share, disseminate and make visible the feminine thought throughout history and today.

‘Palabra de mujer’ aims to enhance the empowerment and collective self-esteem of women, to use and optimize the use of new technologies as a vehicle for learning and communication, and to make all those with whom it is shared reflect on the words of women who are and have been a reference in their different professional fields.

The “Palabra de Mujer” App is presented as a paradigm of how new technologies can be used for the dissemination of female thought. In Bueno’s words, “with this project we propose a shared reflection on women’s thought throughout history and its dissemination through new technologies. With this application, the women themselves, who use new technologies and apps as a way of working, leisure, communication or learning, are the disseminators of feminist history, thought and feeling”.
